A more private mobile preview
Development updates for the iOS and Android apps and the Revault website. The mobile apps are not yet available in the stores.
Privacy & security
- Account-free mobile vaults with optional private iCloud or Google Drive syncing, configured separately for each vault.
- A configurable inactivity lock, defaulting to 60 seconds, plus immediate locking when the app is backgrounded.
- A red Exit action at the iOS vault root, with folder titles and a grid/list switch in the header.
Sharing & organization
- Encrypted sharing with a separate secret, controlled access sessions, expiry, export permissions and an optional first-access timer.
- In-vault search, favourites, folders, and individual tags created with Return or Enter.
- Optional media optimization and direct photo or video capture inside the vault.
Website & customer feedback
- Feedback, feature requests and bug reports can be submitted from mobile settings without creating an account.
- New secure-sharing feature pages and practical guides, with translations across all supported website languages.
- A device-aware download page and landing-page QR code. Store links use the general store pages until the apps are released.
